Instructions For Home Measurement
Because fingers tend to swell overnight, measure your finger at the end of the day to ensure a more accurate reading. Make sure your fingers aren't cold--cold fingers tend to shrink.
How to measure your finger:
- Use a piece of string or paper no wider than ¾".
- Wrap string or paper around base of ring finger.
- Mark the point on the string or paper where it overlaps.
- Measure with a ruler from the starting end of the string/paper to the mark.
- See the chart below to assess your ring size.
Tips for measuring ring size:
Here are some tips to make your ring size measurement more accurate:
- After sliding the ring sizer on, make sure it slides off easily over the knuckle.
- Don't measure cold fingers, as this is when fingers are their smallest.
- For the most accurate reading, measure the finger at the end of the day when the finger is the largest.
